In the Career mode, you can proceed by gaining Cups. There are 105* steps in the Career. As you gain cups, you progress in your Career and get a reward at each step.
You can obtain rewards such as chests, gold, diamond, equipment (shoes, jersey) and character slots. You will start with 2 character slots and get 2 extra slots by progressing in career mode.
