The Penalty is a mini-game where you can show off your skills by scoring a goal or being the absolute goalkeeper. You can see the Penalty Tab on the main screen.
Once you enter the Penalty Mode, you will see a menu where you can see your:
Penalty Tickets,
Medals and Your Win Rate,
Medal Event and Store,
Leaderboard,
and Stadiums/Fields.
Every Stadium/Field has different difficulty options. There are currently two Stadiums available at the moment. When you are playing in the Academy Stadium, you’ll receive 2 Medals per Goal and 10 Medals for each win.
If you play on the Academy Stadium, you’ll receive 5 Medals per Goal and 20 Medals for each win.
Once you hit the Play button, you’ll see your Penalty Powers and Stadium information. You can select or purchase the Penalty Powers you would like to use on that window.
The entry fee changes depending on the Stadium you choose. You’ll have only 3 Penalty Tickets per day, so, you better spend them carefully. However, you can earn Penalty Tickets from the Medal Road or purchase them from the Store if you like.
There are 5 rounds of the game. You will try shooting a successful goal or save a penalty each round.
When you are the shooter, you will see a moving target. You need to hit the button while the target is in the Goal area and hold until you see the indicator on the green zone of the bar. You might miss the goal if you miss the green zone and land in the blue zone.
Once you become the Goalkeeper, you need to guess the shooter’s aim. You should pick the part of the goal you want to save before your opponent shoots the ball.
There are 3 different Penalty Powers to grant you various advantages for the Penalty Mode:
- Deadeye
- This power gives you a bigger green zone, so you can shoot the ball easier.
- Giant Gloves
- When you have the Giant Gloves, you’ll have a bigger safe zone on the goal.
- Lucky Charm
- You can double the number of Medals you earn from your Penalty Match with Lucky Charm.
Leaderboard
The best players of the Penalty Mode can find themselves a seat on the Leaderboard. Players are based on the number of the Medals you have.
